One-Punch Man Its Third Season Is Set to Continue (In 2027)

Without a doubt the most surprising announcement, the much-discussed troubled production that was the third season of One-Punch Man failed to stop further production. Season 3 will be back with a subsequent part in 2027—so far away they might as well have dubbed it season 4. Even more shocking, the studio J.C. Staff will continue to be leading the project. Thankfully this time, director Shinpei Nagai is on board to direct from the outset, which might be a good sign. Yet, the promotional image for the second cour is the same image the one used for season 3, just with characters Saitama and Garou looking opposite ways. This suggests that, by now, they must be teasing the fans.

The Ruri Dragon Series Is Set to Be the First Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation

Kyoto Animation has forged a reputation for being an prestigious animation studio, making its mark not just for the exceptional quality of its work but for the ethical practices of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a excellent choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo became widespread acclaim when it launched in 2022 after just a few chapters, but then went into a two-year hiatus due to the author's health issues. When it returned with a reduced workload, the series showed it maintained the fans' support and positive sentiment, and now everyone is thrilled about the forthcoming KyoAni adaptation.

Apparently that was just the first cour, because a "sequel" has been revealed as currently being made, and it will very likely premiere in 2026.

From the trailer, the anime called Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a distinctly fresh and captivating visual style, which is somewhat reminiscent of Ranking of Kings. Set to premiere in July 2026, this one will definitely be on my list of anticipated shows.
